The EP1020xS and EP 2020xS are small, custom form factor processor boards featuring the high performance Freescale QorIQ P1020 or P2020 dual-core PowerPC processor operating at up to 1.2GHz. The highly integrated multi-core processors makes the EP1020xS or the EP2020xS a natural fit for combined control and data plane applications on a single board, thereby reducing system cost, thermal budget and power consumption.
