Intel XScale Single Board Computer Modules

The Intel XScale single board computer solutions provided by Embedded Planet feature members of all three of Intel's vertical market products. All of the products share the XScale Microarchitecture which is compliant with the ARM version 5TE programming model. The XScale archictecture incorporates additional peripherals into the same chip making for a highly scaleable architecture. As with all Embedded Planet Single Board Computer Modules the Intel XScale products include a firmware suite. Embedded Linux and VxWorks BSPs are available to accelerate development.
